Q: Does Wedding Cakes by Lane & Simple offer tastings?
A: Yes we do! We have partnered with Uber Connect so that we can serve more clients through cake tastings by offering tasting boxes that are delivered to your door. For $75 you receive 4 cake flavors to sample. The box is delivered to your door and then we have a consultation via zoom or phone call. If a couple decides to move forward with Lane & Simple after the tasting- $65 will be credited towards their final invoice.
Wedding Cakes by Lane & Simple also offer complimentary tastings, however, these are only available on Mondays and Fridays. These are free, but the appointments are limited, and due to demand they book out rather quickly. Q: How does Wedding Cakes by Lane & Simple price cakes?

Semi-Naked cakes start at $6.25 per serving (7.00 per serving with filling)

Things like gold leaf, chocolate drizzle, multiple flavors, and other details can make the price increase. The order minimum for all Wedding Cakes by Lane & Simple cake orders is $675
Q: What other flavors do you offer?
A: Funfetti, Red Velvet, Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, White Vanilla Bean, Carrot, Snickerdoodle, Cookies and Cream, Almond Cream, White Strawberry, Lemon, Coconut.

Q: Do you offer fillings?
A: Absolutely- a great filling made with the best ingredients will take your cake over the top.

We offer- Chocolate Ganache, Caramel, Strawberry compote, Raspberry puree, Lemon Curd, Coconut Cream, and Peanut Butter Ganache- just to name a few.
Q: Do I have to book a tasting to order my cake?
A: Not at all! If you know what you want with regard to flavor and design, we can consult with you over the phone or via email. However, if you feel the need to meet with us and sample the cakes, we highly recommend booking an appointment in advance to ensure a time slot will be available to you on a Friday. We have worked with several clients that have skipped the cake tasting or used the delivery of a tasting box and they were beyond satisfied!
Q: Do you deliver and do your cakes have sales tax?
A: We do not charge tax on our cakes. We have incorporated that into our pricing model. Our cake delivery fee starts at $80 and is based on distance. It's $80 base + $1.25 per mile round trip if the distance is less than 50 miles. If the distance is greater than 50 miles it's $100 (base) + $1.25 per mile round trip from Brittmoore Rd.
